Big hugongous spider

So we were playing in the backyard the other day, and matt was standing by the fence. I glanced over at him and screamed when I saw this huge wolf spider on the fence next to him. He jumped about three feet! We took pictures. Its not as cool as the coral snake that was in Brent, Melissa, and David's pool, but what can I say, we're just in boring old missouri! :-)

balloon festival

Here are some pictures from the annual balloon festival in our town last weekend. Jenna absolutely loves balloons and had a great time! Kaela kept trying to grap at the balloons in the air!

First Day of School!

Today was Jenna's first day of school. She is going to a mother's day out program at a local church every tuesday morning from 9-1. She gets to take her lunchbox and eat there. It is going to be a wonderful break each week for me to allow me to go to the grocery store in peace as well as spend some time with Kaela. Jenna had a great time today, she had no problem leaving me! The setting is a lot like preschool, so Jenna will be learning lots of new things and interacting with other children her age. Her class is mostly all boys, except one little girl that she already knows from our church. I think she may have found her first boyfriend because when I showed up to pick her up she had her arm around another little boy!
